
In pursuit of happiness, my husband and I defined aspects of our lives that we need to take good care of. Maintaining a worthwhile hobby is one aspect of our priority list.
I love gardening because it draws me near to nature and it makes me happy.
I am cultivating a 300 square meter garden, I do have some fruit trees, flowers, herbal- and vegetable- garden. My garden is purely organic. I refrain from the use of chemo-synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemicals. I practice natural methods to grow my plants and follow the simple rule, “Allow nature to look after your soil and your soil will look after your plants”.

- elevates happiness: for example by sharing the harvest with others.
- builds patience and a sense of pride.
- facilitates a better understanding of biology principles, especially for kids. They observe the lifecycle of plants, witness the impact of sun and rain on plant growth, and gain an understanding of the larger ecosystem.
- Most importantly, it helps preserve nature and creates a healthier environment.
I am fortunate to discover and experience these benefits of gardening. I have been traveling a lot and worked with people around the world implementing high technologies for digitalization and automation. I came to a point in my life where I realized that it is wise to invest some of my time and efforts on things that matter most; things that can bring real satisfaction to our lives such as protecting nature.
