I am lucky to have plum tree in my garden. Plum fruit is very nutritious. It is not only delicious for making marmalade but as well as for baking a cake.

Ingredients
1 kg Plum
175 g Butter
300 g Flour
100 g Sugar
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Sugar
1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
a Pinch of Salt
2 Eggs
4 Tablespoon Orange Juice / Milk
Procedure
- Wash plums and slice them in half and then remove seeds.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celcius.
- Prepare and grease 28 cm diameter round baking form.
- Beat the butter with an electric mixer until soft and creamy add sugar gradually then add eggs one after the other. Add flour with baking powder and vanilla sugar into the mixture gradually.
- Transfer the ¾ portion batter in a prepared baking form and flatten the mixture in the form.
- Put sliced plums on the batter evenly. Spread the remaining ¼ portion of the batter on plums.
- Bake the mixture for 40 minutes.
- Serve with coffee or tea and enjoy!
