I am lucky to have plum tree in my garden. Plums are nutritious and delicious not only for baking cake but also for making plum sauce.
This is one way how I conserve my plum harvest. This sauce recipe is simple and easy.

Ingredients
2 kg Plum
4 Tbsp fresh Lemon Juice
1 tsp Cinnamon Powder
100 g Sugar
2 cups Water
Procedure
Wash and remove the seeds. Slice them in half. Add 1/4 Portion of the slices plums in the cooking pot and mix them with electric mixer. Add water and sugar. Then gradually add the remaining sliced plums and continue to mix them. Cook the fruits in medium fire. Let them boil until they become tender, approximately after 1 hour. Then adjust your heat to low. Constantly stirring them until the mixture becomes smooth. Add the cinnamon powder and the fresh lemon juice. Pour the puree into a sterilize jars while they are still hot. This is to ensure that the puree will not get mold.
Tips
- Instead of water, you can try other juices of your taste.
- You can also modify the amount of sugar.
