All people are yearning for H A P P I N E S S in life.
Happiness is an emotional state, a feeling of a positive emotion such as joy, contentment, fulfillment, and satisfaction in life, regardless of material possessions, health, or status in life.
Each of us has its own definition of happiness and every person has a different way of achieving it.
Most of us try very hard to find happiness. Some of us hold to the philosophy , “the BIGGER the better and the MORE the better”. Some spend most of their time trying to make more money and acquire a lot of possessions, expecting that these possessions can satisfy their lives. Some focus on their physical attractiveness, and some go all out to achieve a certain status or position in our society.
Yes, achievements, money in abundance, physical attractiveness, a big house, and a big car could bring happiness at a certain moment in our lives. But at some point, our happiness for these things will disappear.

How could we maintain happiness in life?

The experience of lasting happiness does not depend on material possessions, health, or the status we have.
It lies within ourselves. Happiness is a mindset. We are the one who creates our own happiness.
My mother is a thankful woman. From her, I learned to be grateful for what I have and to be thankful for simple things in life.
These are some examples of things that I am thankful for:
For my garden, which graces me with beautiful flowers and healthy food, and provides a majestic place for my family and friends to relax,
For a sip of cold water on a hot day or sunshine on a cold winter day,
For a quiet walk in the colorful meadows,
For my home, where I create memories with my family each day,
For my work where I can use my skills, learn new things, and exchange my ideas with other people,
For the food that I take, they are the source of my energy to perform my tasks every day,
For my Christian faith, that defines my purpose and my hope in life.
Above all, I am thankful for my good health, which is the capital for my work, good relationships, and a good life.
These are only some examples of important things that I am thankful for. They are simple things in life that almost all of us already have.
Happiness is a state of mind.
Loving ourselves, having a responsibility, maintaining a good relationship with others, learning to look up, and being thankful even for the smallest thing that we have can lead us to a contented life.
Be THANKFUL and experience that feeling of joy, contentment, and satisfaction in life.
